Pierre Paulin F061 Sideboard Teak
This sideboard is from the same series as the F031 desk, designed by Pierre Paulin in the 1950s. The original was a sideboard designed by Pierre Paulin for Thonet in France and was manufactured for only about 10 years starting in 1956. Unlike the organic designs from the 1960s onwards, which are generally associated with Paulin, this design features a simple form that prioritizes functionality. This sideboard faithfully reproduces and revives that Paulin design down to the smallest details. It can be used alongside the F031 desk as it has the same height and texture. The drawers offer storage capacity for A3-sized documents. Production is handled by top-tier craftsmanship and quality from a furniture factory in Asahikawa, a renowned furniture producing region. The finish highlights the beautiful grain of natural wood, and its light yet serene presence harmonizes with various interiors, creating a sophisticated space. It is suitable for a wide range of uses, from home to office. *Wiring holes and ventilation holes can be optionally installed on the back for AV board use for 2,000 yen (excluding tax) per hole.Source: https://metrocs.jp/
