Acapulco Chair
The Acapulco series is a redesign based on outdoor chairs that have been popular in Mexican resorts since the 1960s. They are designed to be used not only outdoors on balconies, terraces, and by the pool, but also indoors. The unique seating experience, which feels like your body is being enveloped, is comfortable even for long periods. When used indoors, they can bring a relaxed outdoor atmosphere into your room. With a simple structure of PVC cord wrapped around a steel frame, each piece is carefully handcrafted by Mexican craftsmen. Industrial tests have also been conducted for the commercialization of the Acapulco chair. Although the PVC cord may appear to break easily at first glance, it is a highly durable material used in many industrial products.
