Acapulco Stool
The Acapulco series is a redesign based on outdoor chairs that have been popular in Mexican resorts since the 1960s. The stool, which can be used both indoors and outdoors, is characterized by its soft seating comfort thanks to flexible PVC cords. It can be used as a stool for a short break, and is also perfectly balanced as a footrest when combined with an Acapulco chair. With a simple structure of a steel frame wrapped in PVC cord, each piece is carefully handcrafted by Mexican craftsmen. Industrial tests have also been conducted for the commercialization of the Acapulco chair. Although the PVC cords may appear to break easily, they are made of a durable material used in many industrial products. They are also highly water-resistant, making them suitable for outdoor use.
