Founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1901, the brand offers high-performance gear such as lightweight tents, sleeping bags, tarps, and down jackets. In 2014, in collaboration with Toray, they introduced innovative technologies such as "Crystal Down® Dry," which uses plant-based nylon and recycled PET materials, and are also focusing on developing environmentally friendly products. In the 2020s, they opened brand shops and glamping facilities "Nordisk Village" in Japan, spreading the brand philosophy that "nature is the ultimate luxury" through local experiences.
