Eiermann Table W1600 Pebble Grey
This is a linoleum-top model of the universally acclaimed table designed by Egon Eiermann for his own studio in 1953. It is a minimalist table that Eiermann designed for his own studio. It has a simple structure where a tabletop is placed on a steel frame, and the frame has diagonally crossed bars to ensure stability with a bare minimum structure, eliminating any unnecessary ornamentation with remarkable austerity. In 1995, Richard Lampert, who acquired the rights to manufacture this table, reissued it with modern specifications allowing it to be knocked down, while preserving the original details and quality. This table, where Eiermann's attention to detail is evident throughout, is one of those timeless masterpieces that no other product can rival. Characteristics of linoleum tabletop Linoleum is a paint made from natural materials, including plants. While it has disadvantages such as leaving ring stains if a wet glass is left on it, and being more susceptible to scratches compared to melamine tabletops, it is a material where you can enjoy "aging" as scratches and marks accumulate over time, adding to its character. Items with noticeable scratches or dirt are rigorously judged during inspection in Japan. Please be aware that minor scratches are not considered defective.Source:https://metrocs.jp/
