GS Rain Shoes by Moonstar 2016 GS Rain Shoes

These rain shoes are a sneaker-like new concept jointly developed by STUSSY Livin' GENERAL STORE and MOONSTAR. This is the renewed 2016 model in natural/olive. While maintaining the same waterproofness and robustness achieved through the vulcanized manufacturing method by Moonstar Co., Ltd., the 2016 model features an added tab at the opening for easier on and off. MOONSTAR, founded in 1873, has been making shoes in Kurume, a city known for its thriving rubber industry. To commemorate their 140th anniversary, they leveraged the techniques and experience accumulated over their long history, which began with the production of "jika-tabi" (split-toe boots), to launch "GOOD RUBBERS," a product line tailored to the modern lifestyle. These "rain shoes" were co-developed as part of that line. Designed for inclement weather such as rain and snow in urban environments, they are a new concept shoe that combines a "canvas upper" with "rubber materials" of varying compositions in different areas, achieving both comfortable wear and waterproof durability.
