Born and raised on the island, her Greek roots are a great inspiration in creating her artworks. The artworks she creates are a balanced fusion of constructivism, minimalism and folkloric elements related to Byzantine culture. Typically, her color palette consists of earth tones, desaturated hues, and deep blacks. For Eleni, the creative process involves numerous sketches and idea boards. And often, what appears on the canvas is the shape of a vessel.
