She creates captivating works that invite the viewer on a mysterious journey beyond the horizon. Her interest in the cycles of nature and the universe began in her childhood on the Danish island of Bornholm. “I grew up very close to nature. I swam and jumped off rocks and ran around in the woods. It is still a place I get a lot of inspiration from,” she says. Now, Anne is primarily based in Copenhagen, but she misses that intimacy with nature. And the hustle and bustle of everyday life is punctuated by travel, exhibitions, and moments of sharing wine with friends and family.
