While Mandi Macias is a prolific artist, she maintains a softness in her work that contrasts with the rugged scenes and landscapes she depicts. Mandi Macias has lived in Glasgow for the past two decades. However, her upbringing in the northeast of Scotland remains deeply rooted in her, serving as a constant source of inspiration for her artistic creations. For several years, she worked in the design industry, but in her own words, returning to painting allowed her to express her soul for the first time. Mandi Macias's background in the design industry influenced her work for many years, but recently she finds herself drawn to more analog creative processes.
