Growing up in a small town near the border of New York State and Canada, she formed a profound bond with the natural world, an influence that still resonates within her today. As a child, exploring the world, adventuring barefoot through forests and along streams, and venturing out bundled up into winter storms, she instilled a sense of appreciation for nature's beauty and resilience. This theme pervades much of her photography. Currently, she travels by car through California, the West Coast, and the Southwestern U.S., seeking new landscapes and perspectives. Her photographs are an intimate exploration of her immediate surroundings.
