Growing up in a small town near the border of New York State and Canada, she formed a profound bond with the natural world, an influence that remains alive within her to this day. Exploring the world as a child, adventuring barefoot through forests and along streams, and venturing out bundled up in winter storms, she etched into her heart an appreciation for the beauty and resilience of nature. This theme permeates much of her photography. Today, she travels by car through California, the West Coast, and the Southwestern United States, searching for new landscapes and perspectives. Her photographs are an intimate exploration of her immediate surroundings.
