Growing up in a small town near the border of New York State and Canada, she formed a profound bond with the natural world, an influence that continues to resonate within her. As a child, she explored the world, adventuring barefoot through forests and along streams, and bundled up to venture out in winter storms, imprinting in her a deep appreciation for nature's beauty and resilience. This theme pervades much of her photography. Currently, she travels through California, the West Coast, and the American Southwest by car, seeking out new landscapes and perspectives. Her photographs are an intimate exploration of her immediate surroundings.
