Growing up in a small town near the New York-Canada border, she developed a profound bond with the natural world, an influence that continues to live within her. As a child, exploring the world, adventuring barefoot through forests and along streams, and bundling up to brave winter storms, she instilled in her heart an appreciation for nature's beauty and resilience. This theme permeates much of her photography. Currently, she travels by car through California, the West Coast, and the Southwestern US, seeking new landscapes and perspectives. Her photographs are an intimate exploration of her immediate surroundings.
