Growing up in a small town near the New York and Canadian border, she developed a profound bond with the natural world, an influence that continues to resonate within her today. As a child, exploring the world and adventuring barefoot through forests and along creeks, or bundling up to venture out into winter storms, she instilled within herself an appreciation for nature's beauty and resilience. This theme pervades much of her photography. Currently, she travels by car through California, the West Coast, and the American Southwest, seeking out new landscapes and perspectives. Her photographs are an intimate exploration of her immediate surroundings.
