Growing up in a small town near the border of New York and Canada, she formed a profound bond with the natural world, an influence that still resonates within her today. As a child, exploring the world, adventuring barefoot through forests and along streams, or venturing out warmly dressed in winter storms, she etched an appreciation for nature's beauty and resilience into her heart. This theme predominates in much of her photography. Today, she travels by car through California, the West Coast, and the Southwestern United States, seeking new landscapes and perspectives. Her photographs are an intimate exploration of her immediate surroundings.
