Growing up in a small town near the New York and Canadian border, she developed a profound bond with the natural world, an influence that continues to live within her today. As a child, exploring the world, adventuring barefoot through forests and along streams, or bundling up to venture out into winter storms, she instilled in her heart an appreciation for nature's beauty and resilience. This theme is present in much of her photography. Today, she travels by car through California, the West Coast, and the Southwestern US, exploring new landscapes and perspectives. Her photographs are an intimate exploration of her immediate surroundings.
