This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Amélie Lefebvre, a graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She collaborates with advertising agencies, brands, and magazines on a diverse range of projects including illustration, branding, packaging design, animation, and typography. "With each job, a new way of thinking and sometimes even building the image comes up. It's like starting from scratch each time, which is both stimulating and challenging," says Amélie. Known for her experimental approach, she utilizes digital tools, collage, and traditional art materials like ink, acrylic, and oil pastels, engaging in a dynamic creative process until she achieves the desired outcome. "I love experimenting with different materials and enjoying unexpected accidents, but I also like to control the image I'm creating using Photoshop," she explains. Here, composition and color combine with the textures created by cut-outs and textures, resulting in a work that harmonizes precision and improvisation.
