This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Amélie Lefebvre, a graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She works with advertising agencies, brands, and magazines on a wide range of projects, including illustration, branding, packaging design, animation, and typography. "For every job, I find new ways of thinking and sometimes even building up an image. It's like starting from scratch every time, which is both stimulating and rewarding," says Amélie. Known for her experimental approach, she utilizes digital tools, collage, and traditional art materials such as ink, acrylics, and oil pastels, engaging in a dynamic creative process until she achieves her desired results. "I love experimenting with different mediums and enjoying unexpected coincidences, but I also enjoy controlling the image I'm working on using Photoshop," she explains. Here, composition and color, combined with the textures created by cutouts and textures, result in a harmonious blend of precision and improvisation.
