This is a fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Amelie Lefebvre, a graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Collaborating with advertising agencies, brands, and magazines, she works on a wide range of projects including illustration, branding, packaging design, animation, and typography. "With each project, a new way of thinking, and sometimes even of constructing an image, emerges. It's like starting from scratch every time, which is both stimulating and rewarding," says Amelie. Known for her experimental approach, she utilizes digital tools, collage, and traditional art materials such as ink, acrylic, and oil pastels, engaging in a dynamic creative process until she achieves the desired results. "I love experimenting with various mediums and embracing unexpected accidents, but I also enjoy controlling the image I'm working on using Photoshop," she explains. Here, composition and color, combined with the texture created by cut-outs and textures, result in a work that harmonizes precision and improvisation.
