This is a fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Amélie Lefebvre, a graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She collaborates with advertising agencies, brands, and magazines, working on a wide range of projects including illustration, branding, packaging design, animation, and typography. "With each job, a new way of thinking, and sometimes even of building images, comes into play. It's like starting from scratch each time, which is both stimulating and challenging," says Amélie. Known for her experimental approach, she utilizes digital tools, collage, and traditional art materials such as ink, acrylic, and oil pastels, engaging in a dynamic creative process until she achieves the desired outcome. "I love experimenting with different materials and enjoying unexpected coincidences, but I also like to control the image in the making using Photoshop," she explains. Here, composition and color, combined with the textures created by cut-outs and textures, result in a work that harmonizes precision and spontaneity.
