This fine art Giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Amelie Lefebvre, a graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in Montreal, Canada. She collaborates with advertising agencies, brands, and magazines, working on a wide range of projects including illustration, branding, packaging design, animation, and typography. "With each new job, a new way of thinking, and sometimes even a new way of constructing images, comes into play. It's like starting from scratch every time, which is both exciting and rewarding," Amelie says. Known for her experimental approach, she utilizes digital tools, collage, and traditional art materials such as ink, acrylic, and oil pastels, engaging in a dynamic creative process until the desired result is achieved. "I love experimenting with different mediums and enjoying unexpected coincidences, but I also enjoy controlling the images I'm creating using Photoshop," she explains. Here, composition and color, combined with the textures provided by cutouts and actual textures, create a work that harmonizes precision and improvisation.
