This is a fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Amélie Lefebvre, a graphic designer and illustrator born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Collaborating with advertising agencies, brands, and magazines, she works on diverse projects including illustration, branding, packaging design, animation, and typography. "For each project, a new way of thinking, and sometimes even of constructing the images, comes into play. It’s like starting from scratch every time, which is both exciting and challenging," says Amélie. Known for her experimental approach, she employs digital techniques, collage, and traditional art materials such as ink, acrylic, and oil pastels, engaging in a dynamic creative process until the desired outcome is achieved. "I love to experiment with different materials and embrace unexpected accidents, but I also enjoy using Photoshop to control the image in progress," she explains. Here, composition and color, combined with the textures created by cutouts and overlays, result in a harmonious blend of precision and spontaneity.
