"My creative journey often leads me down a path of exploring the evolution inherent in all living things," says Sofie Rebecca Iversen. Nature, and the delicate balance of uncertainty and certainty, symmetry and asymmetry found within it, is her muse. Her work is brought to life with oil pastels, often mixed and layered with pastels, and sometimes complementary colored pencils. This tactile medium stands in contrast to her daily work as a digital graphic designer, allowing her to engage with creativity on a more physical level and freely express the emotions that well up within her.
