Born in the UK with Nigerian roots, Ibi left the vibrant bustle of London to settle in Hastings, a seaside town on England’s south coast. She now lives with her partner and two children, enjoying a slower pace of life, which she first experienced while living in Sweden. Before venturing into the world of painting, Ibi ran an organic hair and skincare business for eight years. This experience instilled in her a delicate sensitivity to process and care. Her current artistic interests are concentrated on depicting people, often capturing quiet, introspective moments or shared experiences with friends and family.
