Born in England with Nigerian roots, Ibi left the vibrant bustle of London to settle in the seaside town of Hastings on England's south coast. She now lives with her partner and two children, enjoying a slower pace of life she first experienced while living in Sweden. Before venturing into the world of painting, Ibi spent eight years running an organic haircare and skincare business. That experience instilled in her a delicate sensitivity to process and care. Her current artistic interests are focused on depicting people, often capturing quiet, reflective moments or shared experiences with friends and family.
