Born in the UK with Nigerian roots, Ibi left the vibrant bustle of London to settle in the seaside town of Hastings on England's south coast. She now lives there with her partner and two children, enjoying a slower pace of life she first experienced while living in Sweden. Before venturing into the world of painting, Ibi spent eight years running an organic hair and skincare business. This experience instilled in her a delicate sensibility towards processes and care. Her current artistic interest is focused on figurative depictions, often capturing quiet, reflective moments or shared experiences with friends and family.
