Born in England with Nigerian roots, Ibi left the vibrant bustle of London for the calmer shores of Hastings, a seaside town on England's south coast. She now lives there with her partner and two children, enjoying a slower pace of life, which she first experienced while living in Sweden. Before venturing into the world of painting, Ibi spent eight years running an organic haircare and skincare business. This experience instilled in her a delicate sensitivity to process and care. Her current artistic interest lies in depicting figures, often capturing quiet, reflective moments or shared experiences with friends and family.
