Born in the UK with Nigerian roots, Ibi left the vibrant bustle of London to settle in the seaside town of Hastings on England's south coast. She now lives with her partner and two children, enjoying the slower pace of life she first experienced while living in Sweden. Before venturing into the world of painting, Ibi spent eight years running an organic haircare and skincare business. This experience instilled in her a delicate sensibility for process and care. Her current artistic interest centers on depicting people, often capturing quiet, introspective moments or shared experiences with friends and family.
