Born in England with Nigerian roots, Ibi left the vibrant hustle and bustle of London to settle in the seaside town of Hastings on the south coast of England. She now lives with her partner and two children, embracing the slower pace of life she first experienced while living in Sweden. Before venturing into the world of painting, Ibi spent eight years running an organic haircare and skincare business. This experience instilled in her a delicate sensitivity to process and care. Her current artistic interest is concentrated on depicting figures, often capturing quiet, reflective moments and shared experiences with friends and family.
