Max specializes in collage techniques and has spent years collecting old papers, letters, book pages, and vintage textiles, primarily found in French brocantes (flea markets), which she then combines with acrylic paints and multi-layered assemblages. Color generally plays a central role in Max's creative process. Max has also been involved in the wine and food industry for several years, which serves as a constant source of inspiration for her work. She is often commissioned to design wine labels for local farms and wineries. Recently, she has created numerous label designs for wine, shrubs, and olive oil.
