Born in England with Nigerian roots, Ibi left the vibrant bustle of London for the quiet calm of the seaside town of Hastings on the South Coast of England. She now lives there with her partner and two children, enjoying a slower pace of life first experienced while living in Sweden. Before venturing into the world of painting, Ibi ran an organic haircare and skincare business for eight years, an experience that instilled in her a delicate sensitivity to process and care. Her current artistic interest is focused on depicting people, often capturing quiet, reflective moments or shared experiences with friends and family.
