A fine art print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Ibi Meier-Oruitemeka. Artist Ibi Meier-Oruitemeka’s works have a distinct intimacy and human connection. Born in the UK with Nigerian heritage, Ibi left the vibrant bustle of London to settle in the seaside town of Hastings on the South Coast of England. She now lives there with her partner and two children, enjoying the slower pace of life which she first experienced whilst living in Sweden. Before entering the world of painting, Ibi ran an organic haircare and skincare business for eight years. This experience instilled in her a delicate sensitivity to process and care. Her current artistic interest focuses on figuration, often capturing quiet, reflective moments and shared experiences among friends and family.
