Born in the UK with Nigerian roots, Ibi left the hustle and bustle of London and settled in the seaside town of Hastings on England's south coast. She now lives with her partner and two children, enjoying a slower pace of life that she first experienced while living in Sweden. Before venturing into painting, Ibi ran an organic hair and skincare business for eight years, an experience that instilled in her a delicate sensitivity to process and care. Her current artistic interest centers on figurative depictions, often capturing quiet, reflective moments or shared experiences with friends and family.
