A fantastical world of light and shadow created by the light that shines through the gaps between the branches and the gentle breeze that sways the trees. It is a primal landscape that everyone has experienced somewhere, and the comfort of walking along a road lined with trees. "KOMOREBI" by world-renowned industrial designer Kiyoyuki Okuyama. The original was designed for the lounge on JR East's luxury sleeper train "TRAIN SUITE Shiki-Shima". Rather than being monotone, the delicate gradation created by the 6 colors of thread, each color carefully selected, and the balance of light and dark, make it even more compatible with modern interiors. [Designer's Line - Kiyoyuki Okuyama -] The collaboration between Kiyoyuki Okuyama, a native of Yamagata City, and Yamagata Dantsu began in 2006, triggered by Okuyama's desire to promote manufacturing in Yamagata.
