The Convent Chair is designed by Spain-based designer Andreu Caluya. It is designed to fuse IDEE's values and Japanese culture with the essence of the feeling that medieval Romanesque churches give to those who are there, such as simplicity, solemnity, and purity. The lattice mesh on the back and seat was adopted as an iconic piece that evokes the Middle Ages. The openwork makes the chair lightweight and easy to blend into any space.
