SUNTORY × KARIMOKU Blend Dining Table
A collaboration series between Karimoku Furniture, one of Japan's leading furniture manufacturers, and Suntory. This dining table from the Blend Collection expresses the coloring of whiskey, which is created by blending various raw liquors to create a single flavor. You can enjoy your meal while touching the barrel wood that nurtured the whiskey. Focusing on "malt" distilled from malt, "grain" distilled from corn, and "sherry" raw liquor aged in sherry barrels, the furniture reproduces the color combinations of each characteristic whiskey raw liquor. The dining table comes in two colors: "Sherry & Grain" and "Malt & Grain". The "Sherry & Grain" has different leg colors on the left and right, so changing the direction of the table will change the atmosphere of the dining room. The top is made of two pieces, one above the other, to prevent warping, and is joined together with a key-shaped joint that utilizes the unevenness to give it strength.
