Saarinen Collection Tulip Arm Chair
Eero Saarinen, after five years of research, launched the Pedestal Collection, a design that stands on its own on a single leg, to solve the traditional problem of under-table slums (a situation where the space under a table becomes chaotic due to chairs and tables with four legs). The chair was named the Tulip Chair because the single leg stands upright and the shape of the shell with its curved petals looks like a single flower. This elegant design was achieved by using different materials (FRP for the shell and die-cast aluminum for the legs) and fusing them together in a design. It is a symbol of Knoll and a representative piece of mid-century furniture. In addition to the seat upholstery, you can choose from white or black for the base color.
