The Seven chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen, is Fritz Hansen's best-selling chair and an iconic piece in the history of furniture. The iconic shape of the Seven chair was born when Arne Jacobsen explored the possibilities of steam-molded plywood. It is the culmination of the press molding techniques refined by Søren Hansen, grandson of founder Fritz Hansen, in the 1920s and 1930s.
