The Seven chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen, is Fritz Hansen's best-selling chair and an iconic piece in the history of furniture. In 1955, three years after the development of the Ant chair, the Seven chair was born, a further evolution of the molded plywood chair. The iconic shape of the Seven chair was born when Arne Jacobsen was exploring the possibilities of steam-molded plywood. It is the culmination of the press molding techniques refined by Søren Hansen, grandson of Fritz Hansen, in the 1920s and 1930s. This chair is the best-selling chair in Fritz Hansen's history and is also available in the most variations. It has arms and a swivel base with five castors, and is height adjustable. Please note that leather is a natural material and may have natural variations in color and surface structure. Small moles and natural blemishes may be present, but these are characteristic of genuine leather. The castors with high-quality aluminum caps are twin-wheeled castors designed by Jörgen Rasmussen in 1965 for the KEVI chair, making it easy to move around.
