[Designer's Line - Kobayashi Mikiya -] Kobayashi Mikiya is a designer who is active in a wide range of interior design fields, including furniture, products, textiles, and mobility. This collection was born from Kobayashi's idea to "express the beauty of everyday life by incorporating the grain of the wood on a table and the sunlight." Kobayashi says, "The most important thing in designing is the balance between the space, the user, and the carpet." Using Yamagata Dantsu's color-making technology, they jointly developed dull colors that fit modern lifestyles through trial and error, and used semi-freeze yarn with a strong twist for the thread.
