This flower-shaped children's table is made from solid cypress wood and goes perfectly with the Rabbit Chair. It creates a place for children to draw, read picture books, and more. A technique called Uzukuri processing is used so that the texture of the wood can be enjoyed with both the eye and the skin. By rubbing and polishing the surface of the wood, the soft parts of the annual rings are scraped off, and the grain of the wood stands out beautifully. It is finished with colored oil that allows the natural grain, knots, and shades to be seen. "We believe that what Hiromatsu Mokko can do is to pass on to the next generation. Things, design, technology, sensibility, environment... We create things with the hope that children who will lead the future will develop rich sensibilities. With this in mind, we worked with interior designer Yu Watanabe to develop furniture for children in the true sense of the word, for the children of the future."
