The "Opal" series features a spherical shade made of milky white polycarbonate with a unique blow molding process. Because the shade is translucent, it maintains a ghost-like transience during the day, and at night it transforms into a splendidly bright sphere that illuminates the surroundings. By using built-in LEDs developed exclusively by Tom Dixon, we have achieved a beautiful, soft and diffused light. ◆Ceiling installation specifications The ceiling installation method can be changed from the basic direct installation specification to the "hook-on ceiling specification". ・Direct installation specification (standard) The power cord will be exposed when delivered, and installation on the ceiling requires installation by a qualified person. ・Hook-on ceiling specification This specification allows the customer to install it on a hook-on ceiling. A flange cover different from the direct installation specification is included. * The standard color of the flange cover is "matte black". If you would like to change it to "off-white", please enter [Flange cover off-white desired] in the remarks column when ordering.
