The spoke-back chair "J52" was redesigned to suit the Danish social climate of the time, inspired by the British Windsor chair and taught by Danish architect and furniture designer Kaare Klint, to be simple, beautiful and easy to make. The "J52D", a modern take on the "J52B" that combines two "J52Bs", was released by FDB Möbler in 2016 with the help of the Børge Mogensen Design Office, led by Mogensen's son and currently managing Mogensen's drawings. While retaining the comfortable seating of the J52B, the two-seater chair makes the spoke-back look even more beautiful, making it a joy to look at and a pleasure to use in your everyday life.
