Like many of Grete Meyer's designs, this candle holder is small yet striking. The Danish architect and designer named it after Louisiana, a modern art museum located north of Copenhagen. Originally made from aluminium, this reissue is made from solid stainless steel with a silver coating and a mirror finish. This robust material gives the candle holder character and a sense of luxury, and the mirror finish will beautifully change to a green-blue colour over time. The extremely smooth, slightly cool surface will warm up over time, giving it the noble look that is characteristic of aged silver. The Louise candle holder can be polished to bring it back to its original shine. It can be stacked or styled individually, and fits both regular and tealight candles. The Louise series is geometrically circular, but when stacked together it forms a cylindrical shape. It is a pure design that is functional. This is a set of 3 pieces.
