Cecilie Manz, a leading figure in contemporary Danish design, has designed these handmade rugs, which bring colour and sophisticated dimension to your floors. The inspiration for the four designs came from the designer's own hand-drawn drawings and the light streaming in through the windows of her design studio. The drawings are layered with geometric cut-outs of paper and coloured with coloured pencils. The tufting process creates a range of pile lengths, giving the rugs a subtle three-dimensional effect and a unique feel. The rugs are produced in India using a hand-tufted method and dyed with acid-free dyes.
