The handmade rugs designed by Cecilie Manz, a leading designer in the contemporary Danish design world, bring color and sophisticated three-dimensionality to the floor. The inspiration for the four designs came from the designer's own hand-drawn drawings and The design was inspired by the way the light filtered through the windows of the design studio. The drawings are layered with geometric cut-outs of paper and coloured with coloured pencils. The variation in pile length due to the tufting gives the rug a unique look. This creates a subtle three-dimensional feel and a unique texture. The rugs are produced in India using the hand tufting method and dyed with acid-free dyes.
