The fully upholstered Seven chair is now encased in soft Italian velvet for a more beautiful and glamorous look. The combination of luxurious Italian fabrics and iconic Scandinavian design strikes a delicate balance between formality and simplicity, form and function, past and future. The velvet model is available in 10 colors. The swivel base with five castors is also height adjustable. The fully upholstered shell with cushioning provides exceptional comfort. The velvet used in the Seven chair has a Martindale value of 50,000 strokes. This value means that the fabric is highly resistant to friction and damage. The upholstery, both for the seat and back, is carefully designed to ensure wear and longevity, and the shell is made of wood certified by the PEFC international forest certification scheme. This certification guarantees that the wood comes from forests that are well managed in terms of ecological, social and ethical standards. The casters with high-quality aluminum caps are the twin-wheel casters designed by Jörgen Rasmussen for the KEVI chair in 1965, allowing for smooth movement.
