HAY has reissued the "REVOLT CHAIR" designed by Friso Kramer for Ahrend in the 1950s, together with Ahrend. This chair, which was an innovative use of materials at the time, using folded steel sheets for the frame instead of the traditional steel pipes, is one of Friso Kramer's masterpieces and embodies the designer's minimalist style. For the reissue, the same manufacturing process as at the time was used to not only maintain the functionality and high robustness that pioneered mid-century design, but also reborn as a sustainable product in a variety of colors by using a mixture of plastic recovered after the consumer's use and solid ABS resin.
