Old wood that has been naturally dried over a long period of time is said to be stronger than new wood that is often forced dried, and each piece has a variety of expressions that new wood does not have. By deliberately leaving traces of repairs, the worn texture is utilized, and the unique expressions of each piece add to the charm. Cement that emits less CO2 during the manufacturing process is selected, and natural fibers are woven in instead of fiberglass.
