This is a reproduction of a chair designed in the 1950s by Brazilian architect Jose Zanine Caldas. Its shape defies conventional wisdom when it comes to furniture design. COMPLEX has had this antique chair in its collection for about 15 years, and the SPY CHAIR has been a long-selling item for 13 years since its release. The frame uses unplated screws, just like the original, which rust on the steel screw threads due to the humidity in the air, making them less likely to come loose from the wood.
